Educational Assessment
Also known as an achievement test, this assessment identifies academic strengths and weaknesses within the areas of reading, writing, and math problem solving. The educational assessment includes a cognitive test and can assist with diagnosing a Specific Learning Disorder, help inform educational providers, and facilitate appropriate intervention.
All assessments include a comprehensive report and feedback session.

ADHD Assessment
Utilising several measures, the ADHD assessment comprises of an intake clinical interview, behavioural observation (outside the clinic is available), parent and teacher questionnaires, executive functioning tests, and a cognitive assessment (optional).

Autism Assessment
The comprehensive autism assessment encompasses standardised diagnostic measures, clinical interviews, behavioural observation, parent and teacher questionnaires, and a cognitive assessment (if required). School observation is available if requested (additional fees apply).

WPATH Assessment
World Professional Association For Transgender Health (WPATH) assessment is available for trans and gender diverse adolescents and adults seeking medical affirmation (gender-affirming hormones, gender-affirming surgery). Clinical Psychology Melbourne takes a gender-affirming approach and follows WPATH guidelines, focusing on informed decisions regarding medical and/or surgical affirmation. The length of the assessment varies and is dependent on each individual and their personal goals. Assessment sessions are 50 minutes and standard fees apply. A Medicare rebate is available with a GP referral and a valid mental health care plan. Upon completion, a report is provided for the medical professional (surgeon, endocrinologist, paediatrician) assisting with an individual's affirmation. Please note that reports are valid for three months and additional fees apply.
